A PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS OF SIN, SALVATION, AND BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I ask You to forgive me of my sin(s), cleanse me and make me a new creature in Christ Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He came to this earth to teach me how to live, to die on the cross for my deliverance, and His Blood was shed for the remission of my sins. I believe that You raised Him on the third day for my victory! I believe this O Lord, and I accept my faith in this belief. I accept the redemption that Jesus has paid on the cross for me. Your word says, "Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2:21) So I call on the Name of Your Son, Jesus now (call His Name as loud as you can, at least three times.) JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my Savior; be my Lord over my life, and give to me all the benefits of being Your child according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine hart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I confess this day that the Lord Jesus is my Savior and He is the Lord of my life. I believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead and from this day forth, I am saved. Now, O God, I want to be born again, I want to be one with You as You and Jesus are One. I ask you now, fill me with Your Holy Spirit as You did for the believers on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). Sanctify me now with Your Holy Spirit, make me lean to receive the in-filling of the Holy Ghost that I may speak in other tongues as the Spirit give me utterance. Thank You Father, that the Power that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in me (Acts 1:8). This is that Power that will change me from mortal to immortality at Your coming (1Corinthians 15:51-58). Thank You O God, I accept my place in the Body of Christ and in the Kingdom of God. Amen.
Welcome, to the family of God!

NOW THAT YOU HAVE PRAYED Now began to give God praise for loving you so much that He gave His Son Jesus to die for you that you may live eternally and live victoriously now! As you began to praise God, let your tears flow, it's OK. When you feel that you want to speak something else other than your native language, allow yourself to do so. You may not understand what you are saying but God does! The Holy Spirit will not overpower you, He is gentle. He may cause your mouth to tremble with His Presence. Trust Him, and just speak. Speak whatever comes to you. Let it flow. When you begin speaking in another language and you don't have to think of what to say, but it is just flowing naturally, and you are not thinking of what to tell yourself to say, then you will know that you have just been filled with the Spirit of God. You now have the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Bible says. "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." (2Corn.4:7)
Pray in the Spirit, and pray in your natural language every day, as often as you can. As you pray in the Spirit, you are building up your own spirit to become strong that you may bring your body under subjection to the things of God. Satan will no longer be able to tempt you with drugs, cigarettes, drinking, illicit sex, anger, hatred, jealousy, etc. and cause you to yield to them any longer. And the power to defeat him every time is the Holy Ghost which now resides in you so keep praying in tongues. (Read Jude 20-21)
Speaking in tongues will also cause you to become sensitive to the voice of God. When He speaks to you, you will know His voice. If you are attending a church that do not believe in speaking in tongues, don't walk away , RUN! (Jude 17-19) No matter what they say, they do not accept the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, They are not willing to accept everything that Jesus died for. But the main thing was to bring us back to God, to be one with God again and that was accomplished by the infilling of the Holy Ghost; the evidence is speaking in tongues. They are not of the family of God because they don't have the Spirit of God. (They may be religious and have religious services but they lack the Spirit of God.) Remember, many people followed Jesus just for the food and the miracles, not that they wanted to become one with Him. They were the same ones who yelled crucify Him, and chose a murderer over a man who healed them, fed them, only did them good. The reason your children are your children is because they have your blood right? Well, the reason we are His children is because ewe have His Spirit! You can not defeat a spirit being like satan with your flesh. He rules the flesh. You must have another spirit, the Spirit of God, that has already defeated him and will always have power over him.
Find a house of God that teaches the full gospel, where the Pastor is filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. A house of God where the people are free to speak in tongues. A house of prayer where the pastor is living according to the Word of God, in holiness and righteousness. A house of God that believes in living holy and believes in sanctification. Don't let them tell you that sanctification just means "being set apart", it means more than that. It means being the righteousness of God, set apart unto God, living holy unto God, and doing the Will of God for the Work of God unto His glory! Why would Jesus die just to set you apart, and you are still living as you did before you confessed Him? You are set apart from what? - when you are still living in sin? Does that make sense? If that was so then God should not have sent His Son, and He did not have to die if we can go to heaven living any way we want, All we have to do is say Lord forgive me, and say I'm saved, but I am still living as I did before. If that is so, then nothing happened to you. You have not been changed, and you are definitely not born again! You might be deceived, but you are not a child of God. When Jesus comes into your life, and make you another creature, you will know it,. No one will have to tell you you are saved, you will know that you are saved. You will feel the change. You will know that you have been born again because you will no longer have any desire to sin. It will be like a heavy load lifted up off of you, and it did. You will have love or everyone and whatever had you angry or upset, will no longer matter,. You just want to love everyone, and you should. It is written in Romans 6:1-4, (KJV) "WHAT SHALL we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
God bless you, and welcome to the family of God! Rev. Valarine M. Seay
