THE ARMOUR PRAYER By: Reverend Valarine M. Seay
I plead the Blood of Christ Jesus over me and all my true sisters and brothers in the body of Christ Jesus. I cover us in the Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Our loins are girded about with Truth. We wear the breastplate of Righteousness, faith and love. (1Thess. 5:8) Our feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of Peace, to tread upon the lion and adder: (Psa. 91:13) The young lion and the dragon shalt we trample under feet. Behold, God has given unto us Power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall be any means hurt us. (Luke 10:19) and we shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of our feet, (Mal. 4:3) according to the Word of God. And the God of Peace shall crush satan under our feet shortly, according to the Will of God. (Rom. 16:20) Above all we are shield with the shield of faith which quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked one(Eph. 6:16) where, no weapon formed against us shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against us in judgment we shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is of God, saith the Lord. (Isa. 54:17) And we wear the helmet of salvation, which is the hope of salvation (1Thess. 5:8) which casts down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, (2Cor. 10:5) for Thou wilt keep us in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because we trusteth in Thee. (Isa. 26:3) Great peace have they which love Thy laws and nothing shall offend them. (Psa. 119:165) And we speak, and we meditate on, and we carry the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;

Letting the high praises of God be in our mouth, and a two-edged sword in our hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgments written: this honor have all His saints. (Psa. 149:6-9) For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them> (Prov. 8:7-8) But with righteousness shall we judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and we shall smite the earth with the rod of our mouth and with the breath of our lips shall we slay the wicked. (Isa. 11:4) We stand therefore, praying always with all prayer and supplication for all saints (Eph. 6:14,18) In Jesus' Mighty Name I pray, Amen.

My motto of patience:
But if God raises a storm, permits the enemy to send wave after wave, and seemingly stands aloof from our prayers, then still to hang on and trust God, when we cannot trace Him, this is the patience (faith) of the saints!
